IMDB - Internet Movie Douchebag Base

Hello scrumptious people!

It's now early am on Monday morning and I'm about to drag my sorry ass out of bed and into the office.  I don't think I'm contagious anymore and am slowly starting to feel better.  I can always come back and work from home if need be.

There really is nothing worse than sick people coming to work.  Apart from selfishly spreading their germs around, it's the pitts listening to someone cough and blow their nose constantly.  I know for some people it makes them feel like dedicated loyal staff if they turn up on their death bed, but really, who wants to be so selfish to make other people sick....definitely not me!  I guess parents must feel the same with other parents sending their kids to day care sick.

I had a relatively chilled out weekend, mostly spent in bed resting or on the couch with the flatmates watching movies (Fair Game & Kings Speech).  Best thing about it was the offer of home made chicken soup laced with vodka & valium!  My girls know me too well!

Yesterday (Sunday) I woke up at 6am coughing and making a whole lot of man flu racket, so I got up to have a couple of my cold and flu tablets.  Now, I knew where they were and didn't want to turn the light on (hate bright lights all of a sudden after you've been sleeping) so just popped them out of their packet & swallowed them with a glass of water and sat on the couch under a doona thinking of what to write about next in my blog.  6 hours later I woke up all disorientated not knowing who I was, where I was, what day, week or year it was!  Turns out I took the night time tablets instead of the daytime ones....what a douchebag!!

Well, I'm sure all of the above has been exhilarating reading for you, I've just bored myself re-reading it!  So on that note, I'll leave you with some food for thought, I'm sure it's bound to get you thinking about others....

This whole douchebag thing started a few years ago at a trivia night with some friends at the Cavern on the Gold Coast.  We had finished trivia and proceeded to start our very own douchebag trivia game.  The game was quite simple, replace words in a movie title with 'douche'.  Now, this is a game that has no boundaries or limit.  You can use song titles, TV shows, books, newspapers, names....anything!  Here's  a few examples:

1. Beetledouche
2. Douching Miss Daisy
3. The Douchefather Pt 1, 2 & 3
4. The Douche Mile
5. Dirty Douching
6. Douche Bigalow, Male Gigolo

You're thinking of names now, right?!  It's a catchy game!  I bet you've already made another 2 up!  We got upto about 200 different titles.....Would love to hear what you come up with!
