Quote of the day: They say you have to spend money to make money, so I’m going to do a bit of retail therapy and hope that helps me become wealthy! (by me)
Hi Scrumptious People!!
It’s been a while since I’ve checked in and let me tell you, I was really surprised to check my blog stats this morning and to see that I’ve had over 100 hits on it. It’s bringing about a whole bunch of mixed feelings, happy, flattered, curious, suspicious, and totally intrigued. I only have one follower so I have no idea who is reading this, and if they find it interesting or are saying things like…”what a douchebag” or “geez this chick talks some shit” as they read my ramblings. Regardless, I don’t really care and yep, I’m glad to say, I am a douchebag and I can talk LOADS of shit!
I think that this week I have really excelled in the douchebag status. You see, my amazing gorgeous brother gave me a ticket to Splendour in the Grass, the best winter music festival in Oz being held in the best festival venue in Oz, Woodfordia!
So, I asked that scrumptious douchebag I mentioned earlier if he wanted to come hang out and run around in the hills for a couple of days watching some amazing musicians doing their thing. Anyway, he said yes! I was chuffed. I was so excited and jumping around blushing like a high school girl who just had her first ‘pash’!!! hehehe J
Then I found out about something (not about the scrumptious douchebag), which completely knocked the wind out of my sails, and I freaked out and sold the ticket. What a fucking douchebag. Excuse my language, but I really am a fucking douchebag.
So, today I’m sulking and cranky at myself about it as he’s going and I’m not….how did this happen! There’s nothing I can do about it now so I just have to build a bridge and get over it….
So to take my mind off it, I'm doing some retail therapy & planning a holiday! The holiday is the main reason for my excitement, although the 2 scrumptious vintage purchases bring out the warm & fuzzies! I’ve been speaking to my bestie in England and we’re planning a holiday and meeting up half way between Australia & England! I haven’t seen Liz for nearly 8 years…far too long. We are thinking Thailand, a secluded non-touristy island where we can just laze on the beach all day for a week and then off backpacking into the hills in Vietnam!
My retail therapy has taken place at a friends scrumptious online vintage shop, A Drop of Grace. These are my 2 scrumptious purchases!
Its the perfet summer dress.....pushbike rides along the beach with a cute little straw hat....
These are simply FUN! I am a big fan of jumpsuits, playsuits & dungaree's
Hope you’re all having a splendid day!
Until next time scrumptious people
xx
